Crossing paths again with fellow travellers - January 22nd, 2020

Reunited with José today who I had met a few months ago in Kathmandu. We enjoyed a nice walk on the beach while catching up and sharing travel experiences with eachother. Afterwards, she brought me to an animal rescue center as she had been volunteering here. We headed back to the beach at sunset as we set up a spot offering homemade energy balls in exchange for donations for the shelter.

It has been so wonderful to have crossed paths with so many other travelers. We support and learn from eachother, have memorable experiences together, and to the people I have had the opportunity to see again, can see how much they have grown.

While it was nice to spend time today in town and on the beach, it's so great to return to where I call home with dinner saved and waiting for me.
