Spent the last few days at Begnas Lake where I experienced living in a Nepali village farm. It was a short but memorable visit where I lived in rustic conditions with a wonderful family. It was interesting to see how basic their living conditions were as I later found out that they were very well educated with opportunities to make a good living but instead, choose to live as they do where there is little space for privacy but are always seen together and happy. Another highlight was searching for a place to swim in the lake with another volunteer at the farm. After walking through some rarely used trails and dodging a buffalo that didn't look to pleased of our presence, we found the perfect spot and enjoyed an afternoon swimming and hanging out by the water.
