Preparing land to grow food! - December 18th, 2019

I've spent the past week preparing this section of land in our garden. It started off covered in weeds and tall grass and I have been up early every morning tilling the land and building new beds. Today, the women at the garden finished the next step by planting new seedlings and covering the soil with mulch. While it takes up so much energy, it's so fulfilling to see hard work turn a piece of land into where we can now grow food. 🌱
